If there’s one thing I’ve learned from practicing medicine, it’s that healing extends far beyond prescriptions, lab results, and diagnoses. Medicine is deeply human—shaped by the stories we tell, the communities we build, and the resilience we cultivate.
This blog is my space to explore that intersection: where science meets narrative, where healthcare goes beyond the clinical setting, and where personal experience transforms the way we understand health and healing.
Who Am I?
I’m a General Practitioner, a DPhil researcher at Oxford, and a breast cancer survivor. My work has taken me from busy urban hospitals to remote Aboriginal communities, where I’ve seen firsthand how social and cultural factors shape health outcomes. I’m also passionate about narrative medicine—using storytelling to bridge the gap between patients and providers, helping us listen more deeply and heal more holistically.
